touching the ancient tongues at last light
That's exactly what it sounds/reads like: the past couple of years has seen my path intersect with Sanskrit and, now, ancient (Homeric) Greek. Unearthing the 'why' of it all will undoubtedly occupy the last furlongs of this peculiar, and miraculous, journey.
