the superficial depths
I was at the outside labyrinth at Grace Cathedral, having concluded my journey through the artifact with zazen at its roseate center. Lingered a bit, making images with elements of the SLS by that font/birbath along the path leading down to the Sacramento Street side entrance. Set down my iPhone on the surface of a concrete ledge, the Camera app still on, the lenses facing down. This is what I saw, or what was presented to me:
