Neither of the best public models of the frontier companies (ChatGPT's 5.5 on Thinking; and Anthropic's Fable 5 on Max) found the anomaly in this photo below, after being presented it in an acontextual cold-prompt in a new thread...
...probably neither did you, come to think of it. ::snicker:: (Unless you already have, primed by the hint in this item's 'prompt.') It was instantly obvious to me, when I saw it at the New Non-Fiction shelf at Christopher's Books in Potrero Hill, a couple years ago.

Hani is the imperturbable guardian-avatar and mackerel tabby of North Point Grocery. His own servant-deity is Ali, who works days at the cashier's spot. Hani reminds me of poor KitKat of the Mission, who was summarily dispatched by a heedless/headless Waymo in late October of last year. KitKat was the beloved bodega cat of Randa's Market. I attended the memorial at 16th Street near Valencia. I like to think Hani remembers KitKat with feline fealty, as she side-eyes the frequent passing Waymos here on Polk...
