Have been an inveterate walker/reader for decades now. Been enjoying Andrew Hodges' compelling and often quite funny (in that typically English writer's dry wit) bio of Alan Turing, Alan Turing: The Enigma.
And it's been an extremely slow read, due to the fact that I've been doing a polyphonic co-reading of it with not just one or two but all FIVE of ChatGPT's personae. It's been a revelation in so many ways — the subject of the bio, WW2 history, the act of reading, the nature of LLMs, me... all of it.
At this rate it'll take me forever to finish it, but in the reading will have learned - and experienced - so much else.
