At a UC Berkeley protest rally and sit-in, in 1986:
...yup, that's me in the floppy felt hat; wore those things to shreds back in the day. The boy directly in front of me — yes, J.C. was an 18- or 19-year old freshman at Cal was the one who sent me this old photo. Along with an extraordinary speech he gave recently to commemorate the 40-year anniversary of the Anti-Apartheid and Divestment movement at UC Berkeley and other college campuses.
