GPT-Pro 100 [ for free! ]
Met someone attending OpenAI's DevDay 2026 yesterday and who, after friendly, knowledgeable (and intriguing) conversation, gave me a GPT-Pro subscription — free for a month, and worth $100. It was intended for one of his team members but he felt I could put it to more worthwhile use somehow. Was astonished at this vote of confidence for a random person one just met. I also guessed he had enough of these Promos to give around.
Thanks, E! So thoughtful and gracious of you to gift me with this. I'll definitely put it to excellent use, for my personal project/s.
Alas, it will be just for October though — as impecunious bhikkşus living in the very expensive rent-precincts of this City, including Lower Russian Hill (which even isn't a tonier neighborhood) where he keeps his humble 3-mat hut demesne — really can't afford a Pro sub indefinitely.
But he is indeed grateful for whatever the cosmos drops in his unseen begging bowl from time to time. ::chuckle:: And he and his rapidly increasing posse of synthetic minds will make terrific use of this, for sure.
The IM build quarter may be over, as of today, but the work has only begun.
