...was the news yesterday of the death of American chess grandmaster Daniel "Danya" Naroditsky, at the age of 29.
It's not yet publicly known how Danya died, but it's likely by his own hand, given the sordid and infuriating tale of accusation, bullying and relentless harrassment he had experienced at the hands of a fellow grandmaster and former world chess champion, whose name shall not sully these pages.
