consecrating the Peace Plaza pagoda

It's gotten to where I don't have to deploy the SLS in situ, to bring its vibes to bear upon the place. I only have to integrate the scene in five separate frames in sequence to invoke the essence of the samādhi.

A good example is this series of moments in Japantown's Peace Plaza a couple days ago; I noticed that the old pagoda's serried roofs have been given a new shine, and the work on remodeling the plaza is proceeding well apace.

I usually start with a wide-angle view, or at least one that renders a sense of the whole environment; but for this series, I started with the OneSF notification display on the fencing, for the obvious utilitarian reason that it says explicitly what the scene is about. Then I went up to the fence itself, propped my iPhone on the top rail and snapped another photo to show the innards of the renovation currently taking place.

Then I stepped back towards the street (Post) and framed the next shot to include this "Sojourners" memorial plinth (below). It's not clear from this angle, but there's 3 sides to this obelisk...

...and these last 2 wide-angle images include objects and faces from those 2 other sides:
