community gardens in the city

Among the many charms of San Francisco is the plethora of community gardens one can find in its various neighborhoods, many of which I've visited and enjoyed. So I thought to make this map (via Google MyMaps) showing the location of these gardens and, to indicate that I've visited it, post one of my photos of it in the popup info sheet (see the Fort Mason one, e.g.).

For the data, I asked ChatGPT to find all the CGs it can (from established or formal ones, to those tiny median or triangular gardens that folks choose to unofficially maintain, to brighten up their neighborhoods — the latter of which ChatGPT was surprisingly able to find, though certainly not all of them (there are lacunae, e.g. from Pacific Heights through the Presidio and Richmond, as well as from the Inner Sunset down through Westlake). I will continue to fill out this list, currently of 49, throughout my regular consitutionals throughout the city over time.
