Translation of /goal into Tibetan rendered by Claude Opus 4.8 (set at Max effort), who took a very long time doing it. Remarkably dense thinking trace, so comprehensive and arcane that I could barely scan along... it went on for many paragraphs' worth of reasoning, using thousands of tokens. Kinda overboard, kinda cool at once.
Claude's thinking process was more than just grammatical, linguistic, philological parsing... it was also philosophical/doctrinal: amazing, when you really think about it. That such a machine mind already works this way and, relatively, so quickly besides. What might have taken a human professor and mind hours (even days), was accomplished in minutes.
